Incorporating a world first interactive installation, film, light, music and workshops, Bleach* at Mudgeeraba is one of the festival’s most comprehensive stops in the 2016 program.

Running throughout the entire festival will be the world’s first user generated geo-located songscape.

Featuring contributions from Mudgeeraba State School and Somerset College students, as well as from one of Australia’s greatest songwriters, Kev Carmody, Open Song enables anyone with a connected device to compose a unique soundtrack as they move through Mudgeeraba’s Village Green and adjoining streets.

Building on 2015’s Picnic in your Patch, this year, Bleach* brings another afternoon of incredible live music with the self-styled and self-taught Deena and Gold Coast favourite Casey Barnes.

Kick back as the sun sets and settle in for the celebrated In The Bin Short Film Festival, showcasing eight award-winning short films along with a screening of the Australian classic Storm Boy.

Pack a picnic for a night under the stars and admire the brilliance of acclaimed projection artist Craig Walsh as he lights up the Hinterland Regional Park with one of the biggest incarnations of Luminaries.
