Dress to impress for this stunning night of opera under the stars at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary’s Village Green.

With enticing cuisine on offer, be transported to the streets of Italy in this atmospheric and as the name suggests, a WILD take on an open air opera house.

Hot on the heels of sell-out seasons at The Arts Centre Gold Coast with her shows Rumour Has It and Wrecking Ball, The Voice finalist Naomi Price, will deliver some incredible renditions of opera’s and musical theatre’s most popular pieces.

Rosa Guitar Trio will open the evening with their beautiful tapestry of Latin, classical and contemporary guitar music, including works by Piazzolla, Vivaldi and more.

Event Site: Performance site opens at 4pm for a 5pm performance. Please note this is an outdoor, open air performance.

Access: Entry into Opera Selvaggio will be via the gate leading into the green before the main entrance of Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.

Ticketing: Present your printed ticket to front of house at the entrance gate. If you are unable to print, front of house will have your name at the door.

Seating: This is a seated event. No BYO seats required. Staff will be at the entrance and will assist you to find your seats. If required, staff will assist you to the wheelchair zone.

Parking: Parking is loctated on Tomewin St next to HoneyWorld. Please walk across pedestrian crossing to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.

Food + Beverage: The bar will be open to serve alcohol, this is a licensed area and there is strictly no BYO alcohol. There will also be delicious treats available.

Exchange or Return of Tickets:

Tickets that have been paid for cannot be refunded or returned.

Cancellation or Transfer of a Performance Conditions

Opera Selvaggio is an open-air event. The venue and the stage are completely uncovered. Bleach* Festival and Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary are therefore committed to going ahead with the performance even in doubtful weather conditions.

Visitors are advised that it may rain during the performance. The performance will proceed if there are light, intermittent showers, however alterations may be made to the performance for the safety of the performance and this will be at the discretion of Bleach* Festival. We therefore recommend that guests bring warm and rainproof clothing. Please note that although umbrellas can be brought to the site, out of consideration for other members of the audience they cannot be used during the performance.

In the case of extreme weather, Opera Selvaggio may be delayed by up to 60 minutes at any point throughout the performance.

The performance will only be cancelled if the weather poses a threat to the safety of performers or the audience. Cancellation will occur in the event of heavy rain and/or strong winds as Bleach* Festival and Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary acknowledge that the comfort and safety of the audience and its performers are paramount.

If a performance is cancelled or plays for less than 50% of the total performance running time the ticket holder shall have the ticket price refunded in full. Customers should contact the organisation from whom they purchased their tickets to organise a refund the next business day.

Auxiliary expenses including travel, accommodation are at your own risk and not refundable by Bleach* Festival.

The right of admission is reserved and event staff reserves the right to inspect bags of patrons who enter or exit the venue regardless of size.

Patrons who disrupt a performance may be ejected from the venue.

Patrons wishing to bring personal items into the venue, do so at their own risk. The event organisers will not take responsibility for any items which are lost or damaged on the site.
